A House Republican believes if President Donald Trump was to order the U.S. to invade Greenland, it “would be the end of his presidency.”
Rep. Don Bacon(R-Neb.) spoke with Omaha World-Herald, stating he would “lean toward” voting to impeach Trump if he were to advance on his threats to take over Greenland, per Mediaite.
“I’ll be candid with you. There’s so many Republicans mad about this,” Bacon said. “If he went through with the threats, I think it would be the end of his presidency.”
Bacon often breaks from MAGA ideologies and has spoken out more against Trump since announcing he is leaving Congress at the end of the current term.
Bacon is not the only one who feels that way.
