Democratic Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner reportedly cancelled an interview with MS NOW amid new sexting allegations, according to Mediaite.
Platner’s former political director Genevieve McDonald reportedly told CNN last Saturday that Planter’s wife Amy Gertner warned the campaign in Spring 2025 that he had sent sexually explicit messages to women on the messaging app Kik. Gertner said in a video last Saturday that she was “deeply hurt by the invasion of our privacy,” according to Mediaite.
“ came to us and wanted to come on. They pulled out. I think we saw why yesterday as these stories came out,” MS NOW host Eugene Daniels said, Mediaite reported Sunday. “The story comes after Platner said in an interview with The New York Times earlier this year that he had none — no more personal scandals he wanted to get ahead of.”
Platner’s campaign did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
One of Platner’s top aides allegedly threatened to defame McDonald if she didn’t retract her comments, the DCNF reported
