Democratic Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner reportedly cancelled an interview with MS NOW amid new sexting allegations, according to Mediaite.
Platnerâs former political director Genevieve McDonald reportedly told CNN last Saturday that Planterâs wife Amy Gertner warned the campaign in Spring 2025 that he had sent sexually explicit messages to women on the messaging app Kik. Gertner said in a video last Saturday that she was âdeeply hurt by the invasion of our privacy,â according to Mediaite.

I think we saw why yesterday as these stories came out,â MS NOW host Eugene Daniels said, Mediaite reported Sunday. âThe story comes after Platner said in an interview with The New York Times earlier this year that he had none â no more personal scandals he wanted to get ahead of.â
Platnerâs campaign did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundationâs request for comment.
One of Platnerâs top aides allegedly threatened to defame McDonald if she didnât retract her comments, the DCNF reported Monday.
Platner is no stranger to negative coverage concerning his private life. He allegedly wrote in a March 2017 post on Reddit that he liked to âjerk offâ in portable toilets, among other comments pertaining to his genitalia, the DCNF previously reported.
Platner also faced criticism over an apparent Nazi-linked symbol tattooed on his chest, which he reportedly denied as a drunken mistake and later had covered up. Democratic Rep. Jake Auchincloss of Massachusetts called it âdisqualifying,â the DCNF reported last week.
