Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) is suggesting Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is more focused on the issues ahead of the November election than attacking his opponentās children.
Before heading to an event in Charlotte, Harris explained to reporters the differences between Bidenās campaign and President Donald Trumpās.
āListen, Joe Biden knows that what America needs to hear is, they need to hear a conversation about how weāre going to put food on Americaās tables when people are standing in food lines,ā Harris said.
She added, āHe knows that people want to hear about how weāre going to help working people get through the end of the month and pay the rent. Thatās what people care about, and one of the things I love about Joe Biden ā he doesnāt take on or talk about other peopleās kids.ā

Her comments come just one day after Trump called on Attorney General William Barr to investigate Hunter Biden following a New York Post report alleging the former vice president met with an executive for Ukrainian energy company Burisma while still in office, as IJR previously reported.
āWe have got to get the attorney general to act. Heās got to act and heās got to act fast,ā Trump said during Tuesdayās āFox & Friendsā phone call interview.
The president added, āThis is major corruption and this has to be known about before the election.ā
Biden doubled down on his denial of the reports during an interview with a local Wisconsin television station, as IJR previously reported.
He was asked about a statement issued by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) accusing Hunter Biden and other Biden family members of āprofit off the Biden name.ā
āThis is the same garbage Rudy Giuliani ā Trumpās henchman. Itās a last-ditch effort in his desperate campaign to smear me and my family,ā Biden said.
He went on, āEven the man who serves with him on that committee, the former nominee for the Republican Party said thereās no basis to this. And the vast majority of the intelligence people have come out and said thereās no basis at all. Ron should be ashamed of himself.ā
