Vice President Kamala Harris is getting mocked after she spoke about the issue of transportation.

On Tuesday, Harris attended a roundtable event with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and disability advocates.

ā€œThis issue of transportation is fundamentally about just making sure that people have the ability to get where they need to go! It’s that basic,ā€ the vice president said.

Conservatives quickly took to Twitter to roast Harris:

Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren wrote, ā€œShe’s a genius.ā€

ā€œProfound observation…totally underwhelming,ā€ wrote another user.

Public relations management company Excelsior Strategies wrote, ā€œWe’re old enough to remember when misspelling ā€œpotatoā€ was considered disqualifying for the Vice Presidencyā€¦ā€

Another user with the account The Gay Republican tweeted, ā€œIn fairness…. she isn’t wrong.ā€

Townhall columnist Derek Hunter asked, ā€œAre the Biden people forcing her to come off dumber than he is?ā€

This is not the first time Harris has been mocked while she spoke about the issue of transportation.

In July 2022, she said, ā€œWe are expanding access to transportation. Seems like maybe it’s a small issue — it’s a big issue. You need to get to go and need to be able to get where you need to go to do the work and get home.ā€
