Harris Mocked for Comment About Transportation

Vice President Kamala Harris is getting mocked after she spoke about the issue of transportation.

On Tuesday, Harris attended a roundtable event with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and disability advocates.

“This issue of transportation is fundamentally about just making sure that people have the ability to get where they need to go! It’s that basic,” the vice president said.

Conservatives quickly took to Twitter to roast Harris:

Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren wrote, “She’s a genius.”

“Profound observation…totally underwhelming,” wrote another user.

Public relations management company Excelsior Strategies wrote, “We’re old enough to remember when misspelling “potato” was considered disqualifying for the Vice Presidency…”

Another user with the account The Gay Republican tweeted, “In fairness…. she isn’t wrong.”

Townhall columnist Derek Hunter asked, “Are the Biden people forcing her to come off dumber than he is?”

This is not the first time Harris has been mocked while she spoke about the issue of transportation.

In July 2022, she said, “We are expanding access to transportation. Seems like maybe it’s a small issue — it’s a big issue. You need to get to go and need to be able to get where you need to go to do the work and get home.”
