Joe Germanotta, the father of singer-songwriter Lady Gaga, made headlines recently with his endorsement of former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race.
Appearing on “Fox & Friends” Thursday, the New York City restaurant owner declared his support for Trump’s policies, positioning him as the clear choice over Vice President Kamala Harris.
“I endorse Donald Trump. I endorse his policies,” Germanotta stated.
According to Germanotta, the choice between Trump and Harris is stark. He painted the former president as a patriot and contrasted that with what he described as Harris’s opportunistic political approach.
“They’re two vastly different people,” Germanotta said, taking aim at Harris for what he sees as pandering to voters. “I’m tired of hearing about her neighbors’ lawn,” he added.
With the race in key battleground states as close as ever, the stakes couldn’t be higher. These states are once again in the spotlight as both candidates battle for the lead.
Per a Fox News poll, Trump holds a lead over Harris on the economy. Germanotta’s personal connection to the economic issues is clear. Reflecting on the challenges his restaurant faced, he said, “Six years ago, I was going to have the best year we ever had at Joanne before COVID.”
