Stars of āHocus Pocusā are attempting to cast a spell in an effort to get Americans out to vote in the upcoming election.
The stars, Sarah Jessica Parker,Ā Bette MidlerĀ andĀ Kathy Najimy, posted a video on Monday, where Parker said, āItās a very big deal, this election, obviously.ā
She continued, āBecause so many young people felt disenfranchised in the last election for whatever reason, my fervent hope is that those that sat out will decide that even if a candidate canāt get them to the exact destination point, the opportunity to get so much closer to where this country needs to be.ā
Midler also noted that āthere is nothing more important than your right to vote.ā
She later said, āI do think there is something we can do about it,ā before Najimy added, āNo, we shouldnāt.ā Parker chimed in, āDare we?ā
Midler then said, āWell, it would take a flash and we would definitely increase voter turnout.ā The three actors of the 1993 film then pretended to cast a spell similar to one from the movie. āGet these voters to the polls,ā Midler said, before all three shouted, āMake them vote!ā
