President Joe Biden’s conversation with a mayor in Florida took an unexpected turn.

During a briefing on Hurricane Ian recovery Wednesday, Biden struck up a conversation with Fort Myers Mayor Ray Murphy after responding to questions from reporters.

ā€œThanks for everything. Thanks for coming down, we appreciate it,ā€ Murphy said.

At one point, the president could be heard saying, ā€œNo one f***s with a Biden.ā€

Murphy replied, ā€œGoddamn right.ā€

Biden went on, ā€œAnd you can’t argue with your brothers outside the house.ā€

The mayor responded, ā€œThat’s exactly right… Good to see you.ā€

The moment shocked viewers, but some administration officials are agreeing with Biden’s statement.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates tweeted a ā€œ100ā€ emoji.

Biden State Department official Megan Bates-Apper tweeted a clip of the moment, saying, ā€œAnd *ROLL CREDITS.*ā€

She added, ā€œNot a joke!ā€

Another bizarre moment from Biden’s visit came as he suggested he knew what residents of Florida were going through because lightning struck his house almost 20 years ago, as IJR reported.

ā€œI know from experience how much anxiety, and fear, concern there are in the people,ā€ he said.

Biden added, ā€œWe didn’t lose our whole home, but lightning struck and we lost an awful lot of it.ā€

The president and Florida Gov.Ā Ron DeSantis (R) also appeared to put aside their differences for a moment.

Politico reported DeSantis thanked Biden for the work between the federal government and Florida.

Additionally, the president praised DeSantis for how he has handled the disaster.

ā€œI think he’s done a good job,ā€ Biden said.

He continued, ā€œWe have very different political philosophies, but we’ve worked hand in glove.ā€
