Hunter Biden said during a Monday interview on Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan that if he became president, he would threaten to āinvadeā El Salvador to retrieve illegal migrants President Donald Trumpās administration sent there.
The Trump administration has deported foreign national criminals and alleged gangbangers to be housed in El Salvadorās Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT), including men convicted of rape and other heinous criminal activities. In an excerpt from the more than three-hour interview on Callaghanās YouTube channel, Biden characterized the prison as a āconcentration campā and said he would demand the return of illegal immigrants from there.

āIf you think that the prison in El Salvador is not a fucking concentration camp, youāre out of your fucking mind,ā Biden said. āTell me anybody thatās returning from there. You saw those pictures. Do you think anybodyās getting out of there? You know, is it a rehabilitation center?ā
āHow are we getting those people back from fucking El Salvador? Because Iāll tell you what, if I became president in two years from now ā or four years from now, or three years from now ā I would pick up the phone and call the fucking president of El Salvador and say, āYou either fucking send them back or Iām going to fucking invade.ā Itās a fucking crime what theyāre doing,ā he added. āHeās a fucking dictator thug.ā
Host Andrew Callaghan asked whether Biden was referring to Trump or El Salvador President Nayib Bukele. Biden responded, āBoth.ā
Trump in MarchĀ invoked the Alien Enemies Act to quickly detain and deport illegal immigrant gang members across the U.S after accepting Bukeleās February offer to use CECOT to house them for a nominal fee.
However, the Supreme Court in May maintained a block barring the Trump administration from deporting alleged Venezuelan gang members under the Alien Enemies Act.
TrumpĀ wroteĀ on Truth Social shortly after the ruling that āTHE SUPREME COURT WONāT ALLOW US TO GET CRIMINALS OUT OF OUR COUNTRY!ā
