
In an interview broadcast Tuesday night, President Donald Trump told NewsNation host Katie Pavlich that he left instructions to wipe Iran āoff the face of this earthā if heās assassinated.
Iranās Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei posted multiple threats against Trump on social media, including depicting the president in a coffin. Trump said during the episode of āKatie Pavlich Tonightā that a violent death at the hands of an assassin would bring dire consequences to the theocratic regime.
āThey shouldnāt be doing it, but Iāve left notification. Anything ever happens, the whole country is going to get blown up,ā Trump told Pavlich. āOriginally, Biden should have said something, when they made a statement. We always said, āWhy isnāt Biden saying anything?ā Because he didnāt.ā

If I were here, and they were making that threat to somebody, even, not even a president, but somebody, like they did with me, I would absolutely hit them so hard,ā Trump said. āBut I have very firm instructions ā anything happens, theyāre going to wipe them off the face of this earth.ā
Bidenās Justice Department announced the indictment of a senior member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on charges of conspiring to kill former National Security Advisor John Bolton in 2022, saying that a confidential source was offered $300,000 to carry out the assassination.
Trump previouslyĀ warned Iran not to harm protesters who oppose the regime. He threatened to act if the regime hanged demonstrators who were arrested. While Iran didnāt hang any of them, the theocratic regimeās forces have killed hundreds.

The operation, which involved a 37-hour flight by seven B-2A Spirit bombers, inflicted significant damage to Iranās nuclear program with no American losses.
