Foxās Greg Gutfeld said Tuesday that Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia still needs to go, regardless of whether heās connected to MS-13.
The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that the Trump administration should āfacilitateā Abrego Garciaās ārelease from custody in El Salvadorā and āensure that his case is handled as it would have beenā before he was mistakenly deported to the country in March. While discussing Democratsā defense of Abrego Garcia on āThe Five,ā Gutfeld stepped in and said he ādoesnāt careā about the issue, as a majority of Americans āfavor deportation of illegal .ā
āYou know whatās funny? I donāt care. I honestly donāt care,ā Gutfeld said. āI bet the viewers at home feel this narrative at work. What is strange about this story?ā
āThe majority of Americans favor deportation of illegals, especially those who are criminals, but they favor deportation of illegal ,ā Gutfeld added. āThe last, what, eight days, seven days, has been about one person. One person. I donāt even know his name. I donāt care. If heās here illegally, heās got to go. We are not responsible for the faulty process that allowed him to be here before. Is he a terrorist? Is he not a terrorist? I donāt care!ā
Abrego Garciaās case was brought before the Supreme Court in April by the Trump administration after a lower court had originally ordered that the administration āfacilitate and effectuate the return of to the United Statesā by April 7.
Gutfeld went on to give an analogy to his co-hosts, saying that if somebody had been sitting in their ābox seats,ā they would ask why that person was there regardless of their background. The Fox host cited how Abrego Garcia is being āusedā by Democrats as a ātoolā to āsubvert the needs and concerns of the American public.ā
āBiden opened the border. Millions came in and, surely, murderers, and rapists were part of that,ā Gutfeld said. āNow weāre deporting hundreds of thousands, and, surely, one or two might not be criminal. However, compare the error. In one of these errors, Americans donāt die. At worst, a guy gets sent to a country he doesnāt want to go to. You know what? I can live with that.ā

Democrat strategist and co-host Jessica Tarlov jumped in, asking if Gutfeld is OK with Abrego Garcia going to a āprison camp.ā
āIām sorry, Jessica. I understand your concern, but I refuse to care about one person who is an illegal alien,ā Gutfeld said. āThe mental shelf space that I have is now reserved for victims of crime, which Iāve been talking about for years.ā
āThis manufactured narrative, āfamily man, father of threeā coming from the media who, with the same intensity, talked about having children was bad for the climate are now telling US that when you have children you are now a pillar of the community. If that guy was a white American citizen, they would just call him a MAGA extremist. But heās an illegal alien, and he has kids and now āHeās the spirit of the community. Heās a good guy.āā
In their filing to the Supreme Court, members of the Trump administration admitted that Abrego Garcia was placed on a deportation plane due to an āadministrative error,ā but they also argued he would be dangerous to return, as he is allegedly connected to MS-13.
In 2019, Abrego Garcia was arrested by local authorities, with the Prince Georgeās County Police Department accusing him of being connected to the MS-13 gang after allegedly finding evidence of his gang name and rank. Prior to his March deportation, Abrego Garcia had reportedly been living in Maryland with his American wife and child.
