Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) launched a vulgar and unapologetic tirade against slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk after his assassination at Utah Valley University.
According to the New York Post, Omar openly mocked tributes to the Turning Point USA founder and dismissing claims that Kirk promoted civil political discourse.
“There are a lot of people who are talking about him just wanting to have a civil debate,” Omar sneered to progressive outlet Zeteo. “These people are full of s— and it’s important for us to call them out while we feel anger and sadness.”
Kirk, a prominent conservative voice and advocate for free speech on college campuses, was fatally shot Wednesday in Orem, Utah, sparking national outcry and bipartisan condolences — but Omar was not among those offering sympathy.
Instead, the far-left congresswoman used the moment to reignite political attacks, accusing Kirk of minimizing the death of George Floyd and opposing Juneteenth.
“There is nothing more f—ed up than to pretend that his words and actions haven’t been recorded and in existence for the last decade or so,” she said.
