Illegal Immigrant Charged With Heinous Sex Crime Against 5-Year-Old Girl

An illegal immigrant man was arrested in New York after allegedly raping a 5-year-old girl, according to a Friday news release from Nassau County Police Department.

Wilson Castillo Diaz was accused of allegedly attacking the young girl on Oct. 16, according to the news release. Diaz was arrested on Oct. 26, and the girl was taken to a local hospital, according to the release.

Diaz was arraigned in court in Hempstead, New York, on Oct. 23, according to the police. The defendant was charged with first degree rape, endangering the welfare of a child and attempted rape, according to the release.

Diaz illegally immigrated to the Rio Grande Valley area of Texas in April 2014, according to the release. The man was then arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol, before he was released and later did not appear at an 🛂Immigration court hearing, according to the release.
