First Lady Jill Biden is dismissing polls showing her husband losing to former President Donald Trump in the 2024 Election.
Jill Biden appeared on ABCâs âThe Viewâ Wednesday and was asked by conservative co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin about âpoll after pollâ showing Trump beating Joe Biden âoutside of the margin of error,â when âlast time in 2020, Joe Biden was beating him in nearly every poll.â
Griffin asked, âHow do you turn those numbers around with five months out? And are you fearful of what a second Trump term could look like?â
âOr a third, as Donald Trump says,â Jill Biden quipped.
She added the Biden team will be traveling to college campuses and âevery state that we can get into.â
She went on:
âWeâre not going to take anything for granted. Those polls are going to turn, Iâm confident of it. Because⌠as people start to focus a little bit more about whatâs at stake and start to become educated on the issues and the differences between the two men, I believe that Americans are going to choose good over evil.â

Politico reports Democrats are freaking out over Bidenâs low poll numbers.
Still, Biden campaign spokesperson Kevin Munoz told Politico, âTrumpâs photo-ops and PR stunts may get under the skin of some very serious D.C. people as compelling campaigning, but they will do nothing to win over the voters that will decide this election.â
âThe work we do every day on the ground and on the airwaves in our battleground states â to talk about how President Biden is fighting for the middle class against the corporate greed thatâs keeping prices high, and highlight Donald Trumpâs anti-American campaign for revenge and retribution and abortion bans â is the work that will again secure us the White House,â he added.
The article comes as polls show Trump and Biden locked in a close race. According to RealClearPoliticsâ average of general election polls, Trump leads Biden by 1.1 points.
