Joe Biden: Latino Community Is ‘Incredibly Diverse’ in Comparison to the Black Community

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s remarks surrounding the Latino and Black communities raised eyebrows on Thursday, especially those of President Donald Trump.

During the annual convention of the National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists, Biden offered his opinion of how Latino voters are different from Black voters.

“What you all know, but most people don’t know, unlike the African-American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community, with incredibly different attitudes about different things,” Biden said.

“👤Joe Biden this morning, totally disparaged and insulted the black community. What he said is incredible and I don’t know what’s going on with him, but it was a very insulting statement he made,” Trump said.

He added, “I guess you’ll figure that out. You’ll see it in a little while, but it was a great insult to the black community.”
