Podcaster Joe Rogan and Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon got into a debate over Abortion during an episode of âThe Joe Rogan Experience.â
Rogan defended Abortion telling Dillon this week, âYou donât have the right to tell my 14-year-old daughter she has to carry her rapistâs baby.â
When asking Dillon, who runs a satirical Conservative Christian news site, if he believes a 14-year-old child has to carry their rapistâs baby, Dillion replied, âI donât think two wrongs make a right. I donât think murder is the answer⊠I donât think murder fixes a rape.âÂ
Rogan then asked Dillon if Abortion is acceptable if the fetus was only three days old or if the mother âjust turned positiveâ for pregnancy.
âOnce life has begun, I donât think you can draw lines,â Dillon said, adding, âI would lay it out like this â It is wrong to intentionally kill a human life, Abortion intentionally kills an innocent human life, therefore Abortion is wrong.â
Psalm 139:13 says that God knit us together in our motherâs womb.
Dillon explained that the development of the baby and whether it can think or whether it is conscious and can feel pain doesnât matter.
âI think that, if itâs a human life, a distinct human life, then I think itâs wrong to end its life,â he said.
Rogan then asked Dillon if he thinks, âonce the conception happens, there is some sort of miraculous event like at the very moment?â
Watch the video below:
âLike, you could literally get to the point where the sperm cracks the egg, if you could scoop that egg out right there, would that be Abortion?â Rogan continued.
Dillon responded, âWell, I mean, at some point youâre gonna have to say there was a magic moment that happened because you believe that we eventually become valuable humans, right? Whereâs the moment where you think the magic happens?â
Dillon then spoke about how Babylon Bee has been criticized for being âharmful misinformation,â but thinks that calling a baby âa clump of cellsâ is harmful misinformation because âyouâre encouraging people to kill it like itâs nothing when itâs actually a human life.â
âI think Abortion is healthcare the way rape is love making if we want to use rape as an example. I think theyâre opposites and these are euphemisms that we use. We use the word healthcare, weâre talking about a procedure that ends an innocent human life and weâre calling it healthcare?â Dillon said.
Rogan then said, âThis is why itâs such a human issueâ because he sees what Dillon is saying.
âLife is valuable,â Rogan said.
