Republican Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy made it clear on “The Benny Show” Monday that he had no intention of appearing on ABC’s “The View.”
Kennedy has been making media rounds to promote his new book, “How to Test Negative for Stupid: And Why Washington Never Will.” However, when host Benny Johnson asked Kennedy on his show whether he would soon be appearing on “The View,” the senator shut down the idea immediately.

“I will not be going on ‘The View.’ In fact, my version of hell is being required to watch reruns of ‘The View’ for the rest of eternity,” Kennedy said.
Johnson joked that he wanted to start a petition to get Kennedy on the show and that it would have record-breaking ratings, but Kennedy did not budge.
“Well, I don’t know, but I have no interest in going on,” the senator said. “I’d rather be poked in the eye with a sharp stick.”
Before asking Kennedy whether he’d go on the show, Johnson said that he believed Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene appearing on “The View” on Nov. 4 was “the breaking point” in her relationship with President Donald Trump. Trump mentioned Greene’s appearance on the show in his Friday Truth Social post announcing his withdrawal
