Former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake announced her bid for Senate in the 2024 election.

According to RSBN, she announced her campaign on Tuesday evening stating, “This mama bear has a whole lot of fight left in her.”

“I’ve got a lot of fight left in me,” she added, “And I’m really tired of watching our politicians retreat from every single important battle.”

Then she declared, “I am not going to retreat. I’m going to stand on top of this hill with every single one of you – and I know you’re by my side as I formally announce my candidacy for the United States Senate!”

In a post to X, formerly Twitter, Lake displayed footage of the announcement and wrote, “I want to protect Arizona, and I want to protect the United States of America. I promise I will make you proud.”

Former President Donald Trump released a video endorsing Lake for Senate. He said, “Kari is one of the toughest fighters in our movement and I am proud to give her my complete and total endorsement for the United States Senate.

Arizona Republican Attorney General nominee Abe Hamadeh posted, “This is a once in a generation fight, and I am HONORED to be sharing a foxhole with fighters like@KariLake and all of you. Let’s go fight for the America we LOVE.”

OANN political correspondent Daniel Baldwin stated, “@KariLake is the person who will ensure Pres. Trump has a Republican majority in the Senate for his second term starting in 2025.”

Lake, a former television journalist, ran for governor in 2022 campaign – around her support for Trump’s false claims about extensive election fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

She has also claimed she won the election against Democrat Katie Hobbs, the current governor of Arizona. Lake lost by more than 17,000 votes.

The popular meme account Ramble Rants posted a satirical video of Kari Lake as Princess Leia in a Star Wars clip being interrogated by President Joe Biden as Darth Vader over her choice to run for Senate.
