Shortly after Kellyanne Conway released her statement, George conway took to Twitter as he confirmed an upcoming Twitter hiatus and his withdrawal from the Lincoln Project.

Although he is stepping away from the anti-Trump initiative, he made it clear he will continue to support its mission.

“So I’m withdrawing from @ProjectLincoln to devote more time to family matters, George conway tweeted.

He added, “And I’ll be taking a Twitter hiatus. Needless to say, I continue to support the Lincoln Project and its mission. Passionately.”

The couple’s announcements came amid reports about their daughter, Claudia Conway, seeking emancipation from her parents.

Over the weekend, the 15-year-old released multiple tweets as she verbalized her disapproval of her parents’ overall political views, namely her mother’s support of Trump.

In fact, on Saturday, she reacted to finding out her mother would be speaking at the Republican National Convention. The teen confirmed that was her breaking point.

Claudia Conway also revealed she and her father are also at odds when it comes despite them both having the same stance on Trump.
