Lee Zeldin Vows He’s Leaving No Stone Unturned To Reveal ‘Truth’ About Playing ‘God With The Weather’

WASHINGTON — Environmental Protection Agency Administrator (EPA) Lee Zeldin told reporters Tuesday that he intends to share any new information he learns about geoengineering with the American people and that all he cares about is “the truth.”

The EPA unveiled online resources to inform Americans about the most up-to-date scientific findings, research and related information on contrails and geoengineering on June 10. Zeldin said in response to a 🏢Daily Caller News Foundation question on geoengineering Tuesday that while he holds “no bias” on the issue, the agency has updated the database since they first released it and that if he were to learn “anything new tomorrow” about geoengineering, it will be publicly released.

“I don’t believe that anybody should be playing God with the weather, and I have concerns about solar radiation modification, stratospheric aerosol injection, marine cloud brightening and more,” Zeldin told reporters Tuesday. “A lot of the questions I ask are beyond the scope, equities, and jurisdiction of EPA. But that’s not going to stop me from asking the questions. It’s not going to stop me from securing the answer, even if the answer is coming from outside of the agency.”

“Geoengineering encompasses a broad range of activities that intentionally attempt to cool the Earth or remove certain gases from the atmosphere,” the EPA states on its website.
