President Donald Trump and Anthony Scaramucci are not holding back in sharing how they feel about one another.
The president took aim at Scaramucci as he said Scaramucci “made a fool of himself” during a Fox News interview with Steve Hilton.
“Only lasted 11 days in his favorite of all time Administration, before being fired for, again, making a fool of himself,” Trump tweeted late Sunday. “Anthony is a loser who begged to come back. I said ‘No Thanks’.”
Scaramucci — hired by Trump — had a brief tenure as the White House communications director. He has since been critical of the president.
Scaramucci, however, did not hold back as he fired back a response to the president.
“The Loser is you,” Scaramucci tweeted Sunday evening, then hitting the president over the U.S. death toll and economic impact due to the coronavirus pandemic, adding, “We are tired of all of the losing.”
“We wanted you to succeed but you are an abject failure,” he added. “Thankfully it will be over on 11/3. America will heal and rebuild.”
Scaramucci joined The Lincoln Project, a right-aligned political action committee, in an effort to remove Trump from office in the upcoming presidential election, as IJR previously reported.
Another frequent critic of the president, George Conway, also weighed in on Trump’s tweet, writing, “Mooch won’t visit you in prison if you keep doing this.” The post was retweeted by Scaramucci.
The fiery tweets come after Scaramucci’s appearance on Fox News on Sunday where he hit Trump.
Scaramucci clashed with Fox News’ Hilton during the interview, as the host pressed Scaramucci about Joe Biden’s policy platforms.

“ is a divider. He divides people. He incenses people. He is creating hate in our democracy,” Scaramucci said, adding, “He’s destroying the Republican Party, he’s destroying the fabric of the Republican Party…he’s blowing a racist dog whistle.”
