A Texas man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly threatening to assassinate Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s widow at her upcoming event, according to reports and court records.
San Antonio police charged 26-year-old Jacob Wenske over alleged online posts threatening to kill TPUSA CEO Erika Kirk as she attended a June women’s leadership summit, KSAT and San Antonio Express-News reported. Wenske allegedly wished death on “every Christian nationalist” like her, echoing the hateful ideology that authorities tied to Charlie Kirk’s September assassination.
“Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth,” Wenske allegedly posted online ahead of the event, outlets reported. “Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event.”
“I know exactly where to bomb,” police reportedly quoted Wenske as saying in a related post.
An attorney for Wenske did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment. The defendant was booked on a terroristic threat charge on Thursday and ordered to pay $60,000 bond for release, county records
