Man On The Street Tells Don Lemon To His Face What We All Think Of Him

Former CNN host Don Lemon was told to his face he is a “fucking moron” during a man-on-the-street interview that live-streamed Sunday.

Lemon, who was fired from CNN in April 2023 after clashing with then-Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy over gun control laws in the post-Civil War South, was doing a live-stream in New York City when the incident occurred. Lemon had just finished talking with a woman who shouted “Free Palestine” and claimed a genocide was taking place in Gaza when he approached a man. “How are you doing, sir?” Lemon asked, with the man responding, “Good.”

“Can we talk to you? Where are you from?” Lemon asked, with the man asking in response, “Who are you,” before the former CNN host identified himself.

“You’re a fucking moron, dude,” the man said, with Lemon replying with, “Thank you. So are you.”

“Yeah. It’s very nice to see you,” the man said, with Lemon responding, “Nice to see you.”

In March 2024, Lemon announced the termination of a deal for his show to be commercialized on X days after a contentiousinterview with Tesla CEO Elon Musk was released.

“You’ve never heard anything I’ve had to say, and I’ve heard a whole bunch of what you say,” the man said, with Lemon asking, “I’m glad you watch me.”

The man clarified that he didn’t watch Lemon’s show, but that he’d seen Lemon was “clipped.”

“Before I realized CNN and MSNBC were full of shit, every once in a while I’d see you talking,” the man said, with Lemon then asking why the man held that opinion.

“Because they lie,” the man explained, with Lemon asking, “How — about what? Be specific.”

The former CNN host drew fire after he said former Republican Gov. Nikki Haley of South Carolina, who also served as Ambassador to the United Nations, was “past her prime” at age 51 during an episode of “CNN This Morning” in Feb. 2023. Lemon also has a history of appearing on air while apparently inebriated during CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcasts.
