Marjorie Taylor Greene Makes Claim About Being ‘Attacked’ by an ‘Insane’ Woman While at a Restaurant

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) made a claim about being attacked while at a restaurant.

On Monday night, Greene tweeted, “I was attacked in a restaurant tonight by an insane women and screamed at by her adult son. They had no respect for the restaurant or the staff or the other people dining or people like me who simply have different political views.”

She called them “self righteous, insane, and completely out of control. I was sitting at my table, working with my staff, and never even noticed these people until they turned into demons.”

Greene continued, “People used to respect others even if they had different views. But not anymore. Our country is gone.”

Notably, Greene did not identify the restaurant where the incident allegedly took place.

The lawmaker did not appear to receive much sympathy from Twitter.

One tweet stated, “When you can dish it out but can’t take it…”

Writer Tom Watson tweeted, “Pipe down, secesh.”

Screenwriter Michael Marshall Smith added, “First Amendment does not equal freedom from consequences for your speech.”

Greene has recently received criticism for her push for a “national divorce.”

In a tweet on Presidents Day, Greene wrote, “We need a national divorce. We need to separate by red states and blue states and shrink the federal government.”

She added, “Everyone I talk to says this. From the sick and disgusting woke culture issues shoved down our throats to the Democrat’s traitorous America Last policies, we are done.”

After a Fox News reporter wrote a story about her argument, Greene lashed out, IJR reported.

“ from has written two hit pieces on me today, but has not out even once to ask me for a comment,” Greene tweeted.

She continued, “Houston, you should read the comments to your own piece. People agree with me and not the RINO governor of Utah.”
