Marvel fans are criticizing a clip from the show âShe-Hulk: Attorney At Law.â
IMDb posted on its Twitter account the clip along with a caption, saying, âAhem Say it louder for the people in the back.â
The clip shows the character Jennifer Walters, played by Tatiana Maslany, pushing a pro-feminism message during a conversation with Hulk.
âHereâs the thing Bruce, Iâm great at controlling my anger. I do it all the time,â Walters says.
She adds, âWhen Iâm cat-called in the street. When incompetent men explain my own area of expertise to me. I do it pretty much every day because if I donât, I will get called emotional or difficult or might just literally get murdered.â
Walters continues, âSo Iâm an expert at controlling my anger because I do it infinitely more than you!â

Critics did not have an overwhelmingly positive reaction to the dialogue.
One user tweeted, âI am SO ASHAMED of being a woman because of crap like THIS! If we are truly equal, whining and crying all the time is NOT proving that. Humiliating. I thought I would watch this. I take that back immediately.â

Another wrote, âThe people that wrote this have never read a single She-Hulk comic and it shows.â
âThere is literally no audience for a whiny feminist superhero and yet they keep producing this shit anyway,â commentator Matt Walsh tweeted.

The show made its debut on Thursday on Disney Plus.
According to Disneyâs description of the show, it centers around a âlawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases.â
The show will âwelcome a host of Marvel characters to the series, including the Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, and the Abomination, played by Tim Roth.â
