Mary Trump, the niece of the president, is saying she believes President Donald Trump should be charged with crimes over his handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
During an interview with Dean Obeidallah on his SiriusXM show, the presidentās niece pondered if Donald Trump should be charged with ānegligent homicideā due to his management during the pandemic.
āIf you have it in your power to save somebodyās life but stand by and do nothing, isnāt that negligent homicide or something like that?ā she asked.
She noted that withholding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from a state because āthe governor isnāt nice enough to youā and people die as a result is not right, questioning, āHow is that not a crime?ā
Mary Trump continued, āI think weāre at this point where the executive has so much power, especially when one party predominates, that itās as if anything goes.ā
āThereās no accountability and thereās literally no reason for him to stop doing what heās doing, which is why when we get out of this nightmare, there has to be a reckoning like weāve never seen before in this country.ā

She added that she thinks the president should be āindicted for his financial crimes at the state levelā and āeverything needs to be looked into.ā
āPart of the problem with Donald has always been that heās allowed to get away with the small stuff and it just snowballs over time,ā Mary Trump added.
Mary Trump has been appearing in interviews recently, following the release of her book, āToo Much and Never Enough.ā
