McEnany Responds to Montage of Psaki Saying She Would ‘Circle Back’

Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is reacting to a montage of current White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki telling reporters she would “circle back” to their questions.

During her appearance on “Fox & Friends” Thursday, the hosts played a series of clips showing Psaki responding to questions with this line.

Host Brian Kilmeade said to McEnany after the footage, “I mean you can’t anticipate every question, but is that acceptable? It’s like you’re a crossing guard.”

She replied, “I wish 👤Jen Psaki all the best, it is a very hard job, but that being said, we took great pains in our administration to do hours and hours and hours of research beforehand, days sometimes.”

McEnany added, “I always knew where my boss stood. Unlike other press secretaries that maybe didn’t have walk-in privileges to the Oval, I could walk in at any time.”

“I always knew where he stood before every press conference… I didn’t have to do a ton of circling back because Donald Trump gave a lot of access to me.”

Fox News announced on Wednesday McEnany would be joining the network, as IJR reported.
