Mike Lindell has garnered 32% of the vote in the Minnesota Republican gubernatorial primary, but he remains steadfast in his vow to not concede.
The CEO and founder of MyPillow lost to state Rep. Lisa Demuth, the speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives, who received 43% of the vote of the 95% counted.
Lindell is a longtime supporter of President Donald Trump. He is also a 2020 election denier, a position he had taken in his own race.
Kirsten Swanson of KSTP TV in St. Paul reported Lindell alleged there were irregularities in the vote count.
āLindell will not concede,ā Swanson said. āClaims there are anomalies in the numbers that his teams will be looking into overnight.ā

Like Trump, Lindell has falsely alleged the 2020 election was rigged. In 2025, Lindell was found liable for defamation against a former employee of Dominion Voting Systems, which Lindell, Trump, and others falsely claimed helped rig the election for Joe Biden.
Lindell was ordered to pay the employee $2.3 million in damages.
As of Tuesday night, Lindell believed he still had a chance to win.

These were all mail-in and early votes for Lisa Demuth,ā he continued. āSo, I mean, why would I say here and go, āOk, I canāt make up 20,000 [with] 277,000 left to count?ā So, thatās where weāre at.ā
In a Truth Social post hours before Lindellās defeat, Trump stumped for his preferred candidate.
āMike Lindell deserves a BIG WIN IN MINNESOTA today,ā the president wrote. āNobody has worked harder, and given up so much, in fighting for free and fair Elections. Go out, NOW, and VOTE for Mike Lindell for Governor. He will not let you down.ā
Demuth will face Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D), who coasted to victory in the Democratic primary.
