It was a case of mistaken identity possibly heard around the world.

During the halftime shoe for Super Bowl LX, a poignant moment came when headliner Bad Bunny handed a Grammy to a little boy, per Fox News.

That is all it took for social media, fueled by a post from Ed Krassenstein, a left-wing commentator on X.

Krassenstein posted they child featured in the show was Liam Ramos who was detained with his father by ICE in Minneapolis in January.

“Many of you may have missed this, but the little boy who Bad Bunny handed his Grammy to at the Super Bowl was Liam Ramos! Amazing!” Krassenstein wrote.

The only problem was the boy was not Liam. It was Lincoln Fox Ramadan, a child actor. Lincoln posted about his experience on Instagram.

During the performance, Bad Bunny handed Lincoln a Grammy Award as the child was watching Bad Bunny on television accepting the award.

Bad Bunny won a Grammy last week has been outspoken against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Krassenstein’s original post has garnered millions views on X. He also posted updates about his error.

“UPDATE: There are conflicting reports on whether this really was Liam Ramos or if it was a child that was intended to represent Liam Ramos,” Krassenstein’s first update read.

He posted a follow-up that said, “UPDATE: according to the latest reports the young child was Lincoln Fox — a child actor.”

Many reported the boy at the show was not Ramos.

“No, that wasn’t Liam Conejo Ramos in Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show,” read an NPR headline.

Liam and his father were released from a detention center in Dilley, Texas, in late January.
