MTG ‘Done Supporting’ GOP

There are now two less supporters of the 🐘Republican Party.

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene(R-Ga.) joined former Fox News host 👤Tucker Carlson in pulling back support for the Grand Old Party.

“Tucker is not the only one who is done supporting the 🐘Republican Party,” Greene wrote Monday on X.

“There is A LOT of us that are absolutely fed up and will not support a party that betrays its voters and country,” she wrote. “That does not mean we are turning into Democrats either. But we are DONE with the America LAST 🐘Republican Party.”

Carlson announced the withdrawal of his support on the “Can’t Be Censored” podcast.

He would not support Republicans or vote for them in the upcoming midterm elections because he does not agree with the administration’s handling of the Iran war.

“I’m out,” he said. “And if I’m out, then I think a lot of other people are out, too.”

Greene has feuded with President 👤Donald Trump over foreign conflicts and his handling of the Epstein files.

Greene, a one-time Trump supporter called, for him to be removed from office through the 25th Amendment after he said a “whole civilization will die tonight” if Iran did not meet the U.S.’s demands to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

She told Politico in April she was not sure if she still considered herself a member of the 🐘Republican Party.

“I don’t really know if I do consider myself one right now,” Greene said at the time. “I would say I’m definitely leaning more calling myself an independent. … I haven’t changed yet. But I will probably think pretty deeply about doing that.”
