Netanyahu Confirms Top Terrorist Bit The Dust In Israeli Strike

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed Wednesday that the Israeli military killed Hamas leader Muhammad Sinwar on May 13.

Sinwar, who assumed leadership of the Palestinian terror outfit after Israel eliminated his brother Yahya Sinwar, was killed via airstrike, Israeli authorities confirmed two weeks after the bombing, according to The Jerusalem Post. The airstrike that killed Sinwar targeted a tunnel network underneath a hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli officials have characterized Muhammad Sinwar as one of the main obstacles toreleasing hostages and achieving a ceasefire agreement. 

Israel has methodically targeted Hamas leadership since the militants committed the Oct. 7, 2023, massacres, in which terrorists killed approximately 1,200 peopleand took 251 hostages.
