Ā New York Attorney GeneralĀ Letitia James is sharing her thoughts on PresidentĀ Donald Trump reportedly considering implementing martial law.
āThe days of President Trump are closely coming to an end. And the reality is is that this is an act of sedition. This president is engaging in illegality, and the fact that he would even consider martial law is an affront to our values, and to the Constitution,ā James said during an interview with SiriusXM host Dean Obeidallah.
She added, āThe people have spoken and he should accept the outcome of the election as opposed to find fraud where none exists.ā
James called it a ādistractionā from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on Americans.
āHeās in the White House, and he stews on the fact that heās a loser, and he lost this election, and unfortunately heās finding it hard to accept. He lost,ā James said.

She continued, āThese senators and members of Congress who have refused to acknowledge that we had a free and fair election in which Joe Biden beat Donald Trump by over 7 million votes, are bordering on sedition and treason.ā
Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) weighed in on the matter, as IJR previously reported.
He called Trumpās attempts to overturn the election āsadā and āembarrassing.ā
Former National Security Advisor John Boltoncalled it āappallingā and stressed Trump is āunfit for the job.ā
