Former President Barack Obama is raising eyebrows with a gesture he made while attacking former President Donald Trump.

During the second night of the Democratic National Convention, Obama said, ā€œIt’s been a constant stream of gripes and grievances that’s actually gotten worse now that he’s afraid of losing to Kamala.ā€

ā€œThe childish nicknames and crazy conspiracy theories and weird obsession with crowd size. It just goes on and on,ā€ he added.

As he spoke, the 44th president held his hands up in a size gesture:

And some users suggested Obama was not referring to crowd sizes:

Last week, Trump falsely alleged Vice President Kamala Harris used artificial intelligence to make it appear she had a crowd of thousands of people in attendance.

However, reporters and photographers verified the crowd at the event.

Hours before Obama’as joke, Trump told CNN, ā€œI like , I think he’s a nice gentleman.ā€

ā€œHe was very, very weak on trade. If you take a look at what happened to our country, trade was it was a disaster. Take a look at Japan, take a look at China. Take a look at what happened with some of these countries and what they did,ā€ he continued. ā€œBut I happen to like him. I respect him, and I respect his wife.ā€
