Alan Osmond, the oldest Osmond brother who sang, has died.
He was 76.
A spokesperson for the Osmond family released a statement on his passing, stating that he died at 8:30 p.m. Monday; his wife and children were at his bedside when he passed.
Osmond and his siblings were part the musical group āThe Osmondsā, which included his brothers, Merrill, Jay, Donny and Jimmy.
Osmond was born in Ogden, Utah on June 22, 1949. He married Suzanne Pinegar and had eight children.
Throughout his life, Alan Osmond and his brothers performed on various stages with a variety of musical instruments.
He also worked as a producer on several TV series, including āDonny and Marieā and āThe Osmond Family Show,āaccording to IMDB.com.
Osmond was designated by his father as the leader of the Osmond Brothers.

He retired from show business after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. However, he continued to represent his family in many philanthropic endeavors.
He helped create the Childrenās Miracle Network Telethon, which has raised over $2 billion for childrenās hospitals. He also founded the One Heart Foundation to help orphans.
āUpon meeting the entertainer, an ever-ready smile was ever prevalent. One might feel as though they had known him all their life,ā the family spokesperson said. āOthersā importance seemed to outshine his own, and he especially treasured the countless fans who supported the group.ā
According to the family spokesperson, Osmond recently commented that he was looking forward to being with his brother Wayne, who died in January 2025.
āWe still have a lot of work to do together āthere is much catching up to keep us busy for a very long time,ā he said.
