Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier is speaking out after being ousted from his position as commander of the 11th Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado.
Fox News’s Sean Hannity noted on Monday that Lohmeier was removed from his position after “he made explosive revelations about the increasing presence of Marxist and critical race theory ideologies inside the U.S. Military.”
Hannity pointed out Lohmeier consulted with “superiors about how this critical race theory push was causing unnecessary divisions inside our armed forces.”
Lohmeier claimed he began to see an “increasing relevance” of Marxist ideology “parading around by other names.”
He noted Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin issued guidance giving an injunction to service members to “combat extremist ideologies within the force where they saw them and to take it upon ourselves to protect one another and to speak up and educate one another about extremist ideologies when we discover them causing divisions within the force.”

Lohmeier explained something the Department of Defense does well is make it clear it has no tolerance for discrimination “of any kind.”
“So that’s the standard right and so to that end,I’ve made that very clear to my own people that in the light of a hyper-politicized environment that I’ve seen since taking command, that I’m no longer in command, I will not tolerate any discrimination of any kind based on politics,” he continued.
