A poll found more than half of women would get an Abortion even if it was illegal.
A Generation Lab flash poll first provided to Axios asked respondents, “If Abortion were illegal and you had an unwanted or unplanned pregnancy, what would you do?”
Fifty-six percent of women aged 18-29 say they would find an Abortion provider.
Only 34% say they would have the baby and 10% would attempt to end the pregnancy at home.
According to 45% of respondents who identified as men, they would take additional precautions, including using physical contraceptives more often if the procedure was illegal, as Axios reported.
Forty-three percent would not do anything different and only 11% say they would be more likely to have a vasectomy done.
Forty-nine percent of respondents believe, in all cases, Abortion should be legal while 27% believe it should be legal in most cases.
