Mary Trump, the niece of PresidentĀ Donald Trump, is filing a lawsuit against the president, his sister Maryanne Trump Barry and their brother Robert Trump accusing them of committing fraud.

According to the lawsuit, when Mary Trump’s father died in 1981, she inherited ā€œvaluable minority interests in the family business.ā€

The lawsuit alleges rather than protect her interests, ā€œThey designed and carried out a complex scheme to siphon funds away from her interests, conceal their grift, and deceive her about the true value of what she had inherited.ā€

It argues when Mary’s grandfather died in 1999, the Trump family ā€œmoved to squeeze Mary out altogether.ā€

The lawsuit added, ā€œAll told, they fleeced her of tens of millions of dollars or more.ā€

Mary Trump’s lawsuit comes a little more than two months after she published her book, ā€œToo Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man.ā€

In her book, she claims the president paid someone to take his SAT for him, as IJR previously reported.

White House deputy press secretary Sarah Matthews slammed Mary Trump for her motives behind publishing the book.

ā€œMary Trump and her book’s publisher may claim to be acting in the public interest, but this book is clearly in the author’s own financial self-interest,ā€ Matthews said.

Mary Trump called her uncle’s pathologies ā€œso complexā€ and ā€œhis behaviors so often inexplicable that coming up with an accurate and comprehensive diagnosis would require a full battery of psychological and neurophysical tests.ā€

During an exclusive interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, Mary Trump called on her uncle to ā€œresign,ā€ as IJR previously reported.

The president took to Twitter to attack Mary Trump just days after she published her book.

He called her a ā€œmess.ā€

During an interview with Dean Obeidallah on his SiriusXM show, Mary Trump weighed in on his coronavirus response.
