Live Action founder Lila Rose sparred with an Abortion activist on an episode of âDr. Phil.â
According to Live Actionsâ website, the organization exists âto shift public opinion on the killing of preborn children and defend the rights of these most vulnerable among us.â
During an episode of the show Monday, an Abortion rights activist accused Rose of having a lack of empathy because of her views.
âWe were founded on the lack of empathy, and weâve just kept up on that tradition,â the Abortion rights activist said.
Rose replied, âAbortion is devastating to womenâs mental health. No one talks about that ⊠The trauma is from the rape. The child is an innocent party there.â
The Abortion right activist fired back, âThe child isnât born yet, itâs not there.â
Pivoting to the rights humans have, Rose explained, âOur fundamental human right that we all share in this room is life. Itâs the first human right. Laws are meant to protect the weak. In a society, whoâs the weakest? Whoâs the weakest in society? A child. They donât have a voice, they canât speak.â
The Abortion rights activist continued to try to interrupt Rose.
âWhether we live 10 minutes, 10 years, or 100 years, youâre a human life, and you have the right to not be killed,â Rose said.
She added, âAnd thatâs what the pro-life fight is all about. Thatâs what weâre fighting for.â
