Sean “Diddy” Combs is expected to get out of federal Prison a little sooner than expected.
The rap music mogul, who is serving a 50-month federal Prison sentence, is are New Jersey’s FCI Fort Dix.
A jury found him guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in Prostitution in a federal case last July.
Combs was originally to be released April 25, 2028; he is now set to be released Feb. 23, 2028. Combs was previously set to be freed on April 25, 2028.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons did not provide a reason for the change. It did say it does “not discuss the conditions of confinement for any individual, including release plans.”
The bureau gave general reasons a release date would be moved up. This includes “good conduct time,” time credits from approved programs and activities and credit for time served before sentencing.
A change in release date is nothing new for Combs.
