Report: Celebrity Chef Anne Burrell Died By Suicide

Celebrity chef 📺Anne Burrell died by 🚨Suicide.

The City of New York Office of Chief Medical Examiner ended its investigation Thursday and ruled 🚨Suicide was her manner of death, ABC News reported.

Burrell was pronounced dead June 17 after she was found “unconscious and unresponsive” in her Brooklyn home.

She was 55.

The medical examiner said Burrell died by “acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine.”

She is survived by her husband, Stuart Claxton; his son, Javier; her mother, Marlene; her sister, Jane, and Jane’s children, Isabella, Amelia, and Nicolas; and her brother, Ben.

The new season of “Worst Cooks in America” —featuring Burrell’s final appearance — premieres on Food Network on July 28 and streams the next day on HBO Max.
