Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines slammed White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre over her response on biological men competing against women in Sports.
On Tuesday, Gaines, 23, addressed Jean-Pierre’s response during a White House press briefing claiming the gender issue is “complicated” after a journalist asked her if President Joe Biden believes it’s “fair for girls to have to compete against biological males?”
“‘Well, we do know we won’t stand for trans kids to be told they can’t play where they want, but we don’t know if we care about women, therefore this issue is complicated.’ This is quite literally the least complicated issue,” Gaines wrote.
She added, “Males compete with males. Females compete with females.”
Furthermore, she clarified, “No one is being told they can’t play Sports.”
“No one is being told they can’t transition,” she wrote.
Gaines stated she believes biological men should “just compete where is (sic) safe & fair.”
“Again, not complicated,” she concluded.
