Comedian Rob Schneider wants the television audience to see another view.
Thatâs why he is starting an âall ladies talk showâ to compete with ABCâs âThe View.â
Schneider made the announcement on Fox News while talking with Trace Gallagher Monday as he promoted his book âYou Can Do It.â
ââNo Apologies Media,â my new company, weâre going to do an all-ladies talk show that wonât be like âThe View,ââ Schneider said, per Mediaite.
âIs it the opposite of âThe View?â Gallagher asked.
âIt could be, but weâre just going to do a show â it will be the opposite because it will be entertaining!â he said âItâll be funny, weâre going to have funny women on it that will tell jokes and have funny stories â and health and wellness.â
Schneider said his show will âcompeteâ directly with âThe View,â and it will have âhousehold names.â
The show will begin shooting in January prior to President-elect Donald Trumpâs inauguration.
âItâs going to be a funny show, not like a drowning people and politics, itâs not going to be shaming people, and making people wince,â Schneider said.
The comedian said âThe Viewâ was about as âinteresting as a Hunter Biden painting made of his own feces.â
âPeople are sick of it,â he said. âPeople donât want to have the politics. Weâre going to have an entertaining show with people for entertaining all over America. Weâre not just trying to bring people who are angry and bitter and reinforcing their political echo chamber.â
âThe Viewâ is currently hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
