Lance Twiggs, the transgender roommate and romantic partner of Charlie Kirkās alleged assassin Tyler Robinson, was given limited Immunity for a recorded statement he gave to authorities, according to a new court filing.
Prosecutors said in a filing Tuesday that Twiggs was given āuse-Immunityā for a statement he gave authorities April 20.
Prosecutors want to use Twiggsā recorded statement and his communications with Robinson around the time of Kirkās September killing at a July preliminary hearing.
āOn April 20, 2026, in preparation for the preliminary hearing, Mr. Twiggs gave a recorded statement under oath and after an admonition that any false statement would be punishable by law and could be charged as obstruction of justice, prosecutors wrote. āMr. Twiggs was also given use-Immunity by the United States Attorneyās Office and the Utah County Attorneyās Officeāmeaning that his statements at that April 20 meeting could not be used against him.ā
