Comedian Roseanne Barr addressed âbook burnersâ seeking to dismantle comedy.
During a conversation with Ainsley Earhardt on Fox & Friends, Barr said, âWe have to be more offensive when we come back because we canât be beaten down. We canât let them kill comedy.â
She added, âWe canât let, you know these, people who are censors and book burners have the last say over comedy. We have to protect comedy.â
Barr declared comedy âthe last free speech art form.â

Barrâs remarks come as she makes a return to the stage with a comedy special, as IJR reported.
Part of the special airing on Fox Nation titled, âCancel This!â, was shared on social media.
âWhat is my gender? Your gender is get a job! Thatâs your gender!â Barr says.
She continues, âWhat is a woman? They donât know that?⌠Iâll tell you what a woman is. A woman is me!â
Barr explains, âA woman is someone who cleans up everybody elseâs sh*t!â
She goes on to declare her pronouns as âkiss my a**!â
Last week, Barr made an appearance on host Tucker Carlsonâs show, criticizing the left for their lack of humor.
âWell, the left has no humor at all so letâs be real. They have no sense of humor at all,â Barr said.
She explained, âNor do they have any sense of humor about themselves, Like anybody in power who canât take a joke about themselves like the person I mentioned she should have just laughed it off. But, instead, she called ABC and demanded that I be fired.â
The comedian was referring to a joke she made about former President Barack Obamaâs advisor and the networkâs decision to cut her show.
âWhy canât you just laugh at yourself?â Barr asked. âSomebody in power who canât even laugh at themselves, thatâs a dangerous human being.â
