Roseanne Barr Takes Aim At ‘Book Burners’ Attempting to Destroy Comedy

Comedian 🎬Roseanne Barr addressed “book burners” seeking to dismantle comedy.

During a conversation with Ainsley Earhardt on Fox & Friends, Barr said, “We have to be more offensive when we come back because we can’t be beaten down. We can’t let them kill comedy.”

She added, “We can’t let, you know these, people who are censors and book burners have the last say over comedy. We have to protect comedy.”

Barr declared comedy “the last free speech art form.”

Barr’s remarks come as she makes a return to the stage with a comedy special, as IJR reported.

Part of the special airing on Fox Nation titled, “Cancel This!”, was shared on social media.

“What is my gender? Your gender is get a job! That’s your gender!” Barr says.

She continues, “What is a woman? They don’t know that?… I’ll tell you what a woman is. A woman is me!”

Barr explains, “A woman is someone who cleans up everybody else’s sh*t!”

She goes on to declare her pronouns as “kiss my a**!”

Last week, Barr made an appearance on host Tucker Carlson’s show, criticizing the left for their lack of humor.

“Well, the left has no humor at all so let’s be real. They have no sense of humor at all,” Barr said.

She explained, “Nor do they have any sense of humor about themselves, Like anybody in power who can’t take a joke about themselves like the person I mentioned she should have just laughed it off. But, instead, she called ABC and demanded that I be fired.”

The comedian was referring to a joke she made about former President Barack Obama’s advisor and the network’s decision to cut her show.

“Why can’t you just laugh at yourself?” Barr asked. “Somebody in power who can’t even laugh at themselves, that’s a dangerous human being.”
