Former Vice President Kamala Harris has been criticizing the SAVE America Act recently.
And Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) could care less.
Kennedy spoke about Harris an interview about Democratic opposition to the election legislation.
Harris posted a video criticizing President Donald Trumpās push to make the SAVE America Act a top legislative priority.
āNo disrespect, but Vice President Harris is no longer relevant. She had a shot and she missed. She can cozy up to the Lulu Lenins all she wants to,ā Kennedy said, referring to Russian revolutionary Vladimir Lenin.
āBut she has me confused with somebody who cares what she thinks,ā Kennedy said to Fox News host Sean Hannity.
āI mean, sheās yesterday,ā he added.
Harris lost to Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
In her video, she said Republicans are putting up āobstacles to make it difficult to vote.ā Harris urged Americans to check their voter registration, register if necessary and vote early.
The former vice president is considered a potential 2028 Democratic presidential contender.
She recently called for Democrats to consider revisiting the Electoral College, expanding the Supreme Court to 13 justices and granting statehood to Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C.
Harris lost the 2024 Electoral College 312-226.
Trump also won the popular vote by more than 2 million votes.
