Singer Bruce Springsteen has written a song to protest what has been happening on the “Streets of Minneapolis” the past few weekend.
The new song was released Wednesday and has “The Boss” bashing President Donald Trumpand his “federal thugs,” in addition to the “dirty lies” he accuses Stephen Miller and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem of telling, according to Mediaite.
The song starts off with Springsteen strumming on his acoustic guitar before he starts singing.
“Through the winter’s ice and cold / Down Nicollet Avenue /A city aflame fought fire and ice / ‘Neath an occupier’s boots
“King Trump’s private army from the DHS / Guns belted to their coats / Came to Minneapolis to enforce the law / Or so their story goes,” he sings.
