An activist confronted Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) about his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Creator of The Undercurrent, Lauren Windsor, posted a video of the interaction. Windsor, who confirmedshe was the woman in the video, asked Cruz, “Wondering why you didn’t do more to fight for President Trump on January 6th?”
Cruz replied, “Well I led the objections and the Senate voted it down.”
Windsor suggested, “But you could have done more. I mean, we all know that Joe Biden didn’t win this election. I know in my heart of hearts that Joe Biden did not win this election.”
Cruz reiterated, “I led the fight. At the end of the day, you got to have the votes on the floor of the Senate.”

Windsor also questioned Cruz about what he is going to do to stop “Big Tech from silencing conservatives.”
The senator told her, “I am leading the fight every day, okay?”
Facebook’s decision to ban Trump’s account was upheld by the platform’s independent Oversight Board, as IJR reported.
