Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa have revealed the gender of their first baby together.

The couple, who got married in October 2021, posted a joint video on Instagram of their gender reveal and announced that they are expecting a baby boy.

Loved ones celebrated with them as they shot off cannons with blue confetti.

Heather Rae El Moussa, who is a realtor on the show ā€œSelling Sunset,ā€ shared in an Instagram post last week that she got pregnant naturally after doing In-vitro Fertilization treatments (IVF).

ā€œIf you know us, you know our journey has been far from ā€˜normal’ so of course our Pregnancy story is the same. I’ve been really open about my Pregnancy journey-we’ve been doing IVF and went from having 7 frozen eggs to being told we were only supposed to get 2 follicles to then being able to get 8 to… having an all natural Pregnancy, you just never know what life has in store for you,ā€ she wrote.

Continuing, she wrote, ā€œYou can plan and try to make things happen all you want but what’s meant to be will be so to me, our baby is a miracle baby – the odds were definitely against us but all that matters is that it happened… I just can’t wait to hold her/him in my arms.ā€

Heather Rae El Moussa revealed to ET that when she met HGTV star Tarek El Moussa, they both decided that they didn’t want children. Tarek is already a father to two children whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall.

ā€œOriginally when we first met, it was like I said, ā€˜No I don’t want any kids.’ He said, no more kids for him. So we were on the exact same page. Well, fast forward two-and-a-half years… you know,ā€ she explained.

However, the journey to conceiving a baby did not come easy for the couple.

ā€œIt’s definitely been rough,ā€ Heather Rae El Moussa said. ā€œThese last two-and-a-half weeks, poking myself every single day with needles, three times a day, the hormones, the emotions… At first we found out I only had two eggs. Which going through this whole process and only finding out I had two eggs, I was sad. I did cry a little bit and, you know, going into the extraction — we went to the extraction on Tuesday. I came out and I had seven eggs, so that was really exciting for us because we thought we only were gonna get two.ā€

The couple announced their Pregnancy on Instagram in July with the caption, ā€œSurprise!!! Baby El Moussa coming early 2023!!ā€
