After a teen pro-life activist knocked on a womanâs door, she was allegedly attacked.
Earlier this week, the organization Students for Life of America reported that a police complaint was filed regarding an attack on Grace Hartsock, 18, who worked to get the vote for an amendment in Kansas that would allow voters to weigh in on Abortion policy.
After Hartsock knocked on a womanâs door asking if she would vote for the amendment, the resident responded, âNo, Iâm sorry I donât think you want to talk to us.â
Hartsock went on to thank the resident for listening and began to leave.
She reportedly turned around after hearing a female voice yelling from inside the house.
âDonât apologize to her, mom,â the voice was heard saying.
The woman that was shouting allegedly began running and chasing after her.
According to the organization, âThe woman shoved Hartsock in the chest with both hands and began hitting her in the head with closed fists. Hartsock attempted to protect herself and leave while the residentâs mother told her daughter to stop the violence.â
The woman continued to chase her shouting, âI hope you get raped,â and âI hope you get run over by a car.â
Hartsock was later examined and suffered no injuries.
The end of the incident was captured on video.
Additionally, the organization tweeted, âWe have the most hardcore student activists.â
Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins issued a statement, saying, âAs reported to police, a grown woman took out her frustrations over Abortion on a teenager who volunteered to let people know about the Kansas ballot initiative. This brings Abortion radicalsâ âSummer of Rageâ close to home.â
She added, âBut the Pro-Life Generation will not be forced into silence or fear because of radical pro-abortionists who show no regard for life, inside or outside of the womb, and no respect for the free speech rights of their fellow citizens.â
Hartsock argued that it is âunfathomable that the pro-choice movement claims to be âpro-womanâ and yet attacks women who donât agree with their narrative.â
She also suggested it is ânot surprising to me that a person who advocates for violence in the womb wouldnât hesitate to attack a pro-life woman like myself.â
