A caller on âThe Breakfast Clubâ became agitated Tuesday after journalist Morgyn Wood referred to President Donald Trump as âthe president.â
Wood repeatedly called Trump âPresident Trumpâ and âthe presidentâ during the showâs âFront Page Newsâ segment. In the subsequent âGet It Off Your Chestâ segment, a female caller â who appeared to mistake co-host Jess Hilarious for the one who used Trumpâs title â called in to vent her frustration and ultimately hung up on the show.

âI just have a really big problem ⌠Jess keeps calling that orange guy Donald Trump, âthe president,ââ the caller said. âAnd everybody else on the news channels are just calling him âDonald Trump.â Like, are yâall proud of him?â
âGirl, listen, he the president of the United States,â Jess responded. âItâs okay.â
The caller insisted Trump was not actually the president.
âHe is. I donât know who he is then. What you think he is? You know what I mean? It ainât about riding with him,â Jess replied. âIt ainât about none of that. It is what it is, you know what I mean?â
âIt isnât what it is. Heâs told you two or three times that heâs stolen the election,â the caller shot back. âYâall sound real ignorant.â
Jess said the caller seemed unwilling to âface reality.â
âHe is the president. Have a good day, baby girl. Donât worry about what I call him. He is the president of the United States. If you donât like it, you got to move,â she added. âYou got to just move out the country. I donât like it either, but Iâm not running away from the fact that Donald Trump is our president. Thatâs what it is.â
Co-host DJ Envy then said the caller hung up.
Trump defeated former Vice President Kamala Harris in November, winning all seven battleground states and the national popular vote. Harris conceded the race and pushed her supporters to accept the election outcome.
The president was sworn in as the 47th president on Jan. 20 and declared a new âgolden ageâ in America during his inaugural address inside the Capitol Rotunda.
