‘They Don’t Give A Sh*t’: Chris Cuomo Unloads On Dems For What They ‘Did To Donald Trump’

NewsNation host Chris Cuomo criticized Democrats on Tuesday for their pursuit of President-elect Donald Trump through impeachment and legal cases in New York.

Trump faced two Democratic-led impeachments during his presidency and two legal cases in New York brought by Democrats after leaving office. Cuomo, on “The Chris Cuomo Project,” told MSNBC’s Charlie Sykes that the first impeachment was “a political indulgence” and that the New York cases were “crap” aimed at undermining Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.

“I believe that what the Democrats did to Donald Trump — which I covered which was the job — to impeach a guy when you know you have no chance of getting him removed — okay, zero chance — that was a political indulgence to do nothing but distract from the interests of the people,” Cuomo said. “And you were creating an impression of a standard that you never had any intention of holding up yourself.”
